  • Energy Saving Trust administer this fund on behalf of Scottish Government, providing 75% up to a maximum of £1000 of the certification fees for existing heating engineers to become certified in the installation of heat pumps.

  • The Green Heat Innovation Support Programme (GHISP) is designed to accelerate the roll out and adoption of green heat solutions and associated products. Available until March 2026, a number of funds are available either on an open or call basis.

    From feasibility funding, to large R&D and capital grant funding you can find out more by visiting the site and get in touch with Scottish Enterprise.

  • This is for manufacturing businesses based in Scotland looking to develop low carbon products/ processes or services.

    Your project can use pure Research and Development (R&D), capital investment or environmental aid support in its effort to speed-up the transition to a low carbon economy in manufacturing. There’s a minimum value grant of £150,000 available.

    This grant is part of Making Scotland’s Future activity, a programme led by Scottish Government and delivered by a range of partners including Scottish Enterprise, to help Scottish manufacturers grow and thrive.

    Funding will be available from 19 May 2022 until 31 March 2026. You can find out more here.

  • Interface supports industry academic collaborations between business and Scotland’s Universities, Colleges and Research Institutes. With a number of products available providing up to £20,000 you can find out more and submit an enquiry on the Interface website.

  • UK Government Funding and various research council funding for Innovative products and services across all sectors are available through UKRI. This is a great place to start in your search for funding. Note that these are often very competitive, require collaboration with other industry or academic institutions.
