HeatSource by BE-ST

HeatSource was established with support from Scottish Enterprise, South of Scotland Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise to help address a critical coordination and intelligence gap within Scotland's clean heat sector. Through collaboration, knowledge sharing and industry engagement, it has become a trusted, technology-neutral platform that connects stakeholders, highlights market opportunities and policy developments, and supports Scotland's clean heat transition.

Since its launch, HeatSource has engaged more than 1,640 participants through 39 events, delivered 240 one-to-one support sessions, and reached over 960 subscribers through its monthly newsletter. Together, these activities have helped strengthen connections across the sector and support the move from ambition to delivery.

As the sector continues to evolve, HeatSource is entering an exciting new phase. HeatSource will become part of BE-ST's ongoing work, reflecting the strong alignment between HeatSource's objectives and BE-ST's mission. Building on the foundations established to date, BE-ST will continue to develop the platform, supporting innovation, collaboration and knowledge sharing across Scotland's built environment and clean heat sectors. As part of this, Scottish Enterprise, South of Scotland Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise will conclude their involvement in the programme, with BE-ST leading its future development and delivery.

BE-ST would like to thank Scottish Enterprise, South of Scotland Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, and the many organisations and individuals who have contributed to HeatSource's success. Their collective support has created a strong platform from which HeatSource can continue to grow and deliver value for Scotland's clean heat sector in the years ahead under BE-ST's stewardship.
