ScottishPower reached 3,000 heat pump installs

3000 installs have been carried out in houses across Scotland, England and Wales by Scottish Power over the last 18 months.

On average, at ScottishPower, we are installing 50 heat pumps every week.

Most customers received heat pumps and other measures for free under the Government’s ECO4 scheme which is aimed at supporting low income and vulnerable households to improve their home's energy efficiency.

The total heat pump install figure also includes those who have benefitted from attractive Government grants to significantly reduce the upfront costs, such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (England & Wales) and the Home Energy Scotland Grant (Scotland).
